چکیده
Purpose. To improve of the sub-level caving mining methods during deposits high-grade iron ores by applying a rational mode and intensifying ore drawing. Methodology. It included an analysis scientific literature, design documentation practice iron-ores in complex geomechanical conditions deep horizons mines, to establish formation fundamentally new foundations scientific-and-design solutions for extraction minerals; numerical (application special computer software package PFC 3D) physical (based on application volumetric models equivalent materials) modeling drawing, aimed at identifying regularities recovery process depending mining-geological deposits, also physical- and-mechanical properties loosened mass. Findings. Regularities changes qualitative quantitative percentages intensity drawing physical-and-mechanical have been established using simulation. The obtained made it possible substantiate parameters structural elements technological scheme delivery ore. A linear-alternating condition was developed, which will ensure increase pure up 10% and, as result, 4.6% 5.2% indicators percentages, well 1.5% absolute quality mined Originality. Power-law dependencies change angle tapping ultimate strength uniaxial compression volume figure, when is applied, height collapsed layer compression. Practical value. has implementation makes eliminate human factor while observing planograms.

A New Mathematical Model for Production Scheduling in Sub-level Caving Mining Method
Production scheduling in underground mines is still a manual process, and achieving a truly optimal result through manual scheduling is impossible due to the complexity of the scheduling problems. Among the underground mining methods, sub-level caving is a common mining method with a high production rate for hard rock mining. There are limited studies about long-term production scheduling...
متن کاملScheduling in iron ore open-pit mining
During the last few years, most production-based businesses have been under enormous pressure to improve their top-line growth and bottom-line savings. As a result, many companies are turning to systems and technologies that can help optimise their supply chain activities. In this paper, we discuss a real-world application of scheduling in the mining industry. This is a highly constrained probl...
متن کاملThermal stress in North Western Australian iron ore mining staff.
INTRODUCTION Demand for Australian mined iron ore has increased employment within this sector, thus exposing increased numbers of workers to the harsh Australian climate. This study examined the influence of hot (>30°C wet bulb globe temperature) environmental temperatures, consistent with working in North Western Australia, on iron ore mining staff. METHODS Core temperature, hydration status...
متن کاملUnder-mining health? Local impacts of iron ore mining in India
Environmental justice concerns about adverse impacts of extractive mining industries challenge their claim of broad-based development. However, empirical evidence of negative externalities attributable to mining enterprises is thin. In this paper, we examine the burden of Acute Respiratory Illness and Malaria among villagers along a gradient of proximity to mining areas to generate evidence per...
